The Problem With Corporate Events
You've been asked to organise something for the team. Escape rooms? Half of them hated it last time. Bowling? Done it. Go-karting? Three people can't do it. Paintball? HR said no.
The brief is always the same: something everyone can do, something that doesn't feel forced, and something that won't embarrass the person who booked it. Most options fail on at least one count.
Why Golf Simulators Work for Corporate
Nobody needs to know how to play golf. The TrackMan games — cannon bowling, neon crazy golf, junkyard smashing — are designed for groups of mixed ability. The person who's never held a club can compete with the one who plays every weekend. That's the point.
At 1IRON, you get 9 TrackMan bays across three connected units, a fully licensed bar, food, pool tables, shuffleboard, interactive darts, and live sport on screens. It's a proper venue, not a meeting room with beanbags.
The Venue
Secondary Room — 3 TrackMan bays, large screen for presentations or live sport, pool table, darts, and its own entrance. Available for private hire. Conference room attached for up to 10 people with full AV. This is where most corporate events happen. It feels like your own space, not a shared venue.
Full Venue — All 9 bays, The Bunker, bar, and every activity. Capacity for 150+ people. For the big ones — Christmas parties, company milestones, client entertainment.
What It Costs

At 50 guests, that's £30 per head for 3 hours of TrackMan, food, drinks, and activities. Try getting a comparable quote from any other venue in Milton Keynes.
Branding the Space
Corporate clients can put their logo on TrackMan screens, venue TVs, and entrance signage. The Secondary Room has its own entrance — branding goes up before guests arrive. It feels like your event, not ours.
Conference room has full AV for presentations. Run your quarterly update, then send everyone to the bays.
What a Typical Event Looks Like
- Guests arrive to their own space (Secondary Room or full venue)
- Quick welcome, drinks, and intro to the simulators
- Competition format: team-based, nearest the pin, longest drive, or just free play
- Food and drinks served throughout
- Leaderboard displayed on the big screen
- Awards, more drinks, everyone actually talks to each other
The organiser sends one brief. We handle format, setup, food, drinks, and cleanup. One invoice at the end.
Not Just Golf
Half the room won't touch a golf club. That's fine. Pool, shuffleboard, interactive darts, and the bar are all there. The best corporate events we host are the ones where people split between activities and rotate. It stops feeling like an "event" and starts feeling like a night out.
